TL: Mavis Knaak

Note, this is not a app and it is more of a summary of where Mavis ended up in after the events of the group. It is way too long to be an actual submission (looking at you history), don't submit something like this to a RP group kiddies. Mavis could use this since I still RP her and the old app has some outdated info that I have fixed now, but keeping that one up for archives sake.

Race: Rijibarian, a race of soul eater demons that, due to their cultural restrictions, need to eat large quantities of normal food as a substitute for their natural diet of souls. Most of the food they eat gets converted into mana and stored in huge quantities in an organ called a Mana Sac. Due to their lack of ability to obtain the food quantity what they really need, all healthy functioning Rijibarians experience a never ending state of being hungry. They will go berserk and suffer a mental and physical break down as a result of eating human flesh.

Weapon : Ira, a near indestructible rune sword that contains the spirit/Contract of a master swordsman who had fallen during The Great Collapse. He's able to talk even though he's in his sword form. Though as of recent, it’s basically a normal unpossessed weapon on most days as Ira rarely returns into the sword and walks around in his own body.

Abilities :
Sword proficiency: Mavis is very competent with sword combat. She can use most one handed swords with ease and knows how to handle two handed swords at an intermediate level. She knows how to dual wield weapons too but she prefers to use one sword so she has a free hand. Mavis also prefers to use swords that are made for both cutting and thrusting rather than one that specializes on one style.

Roped weapons and chains: Mavis is not a long ranged fighter, but she knows enough on using metalic string, rope darts and ball weighted chains to get around with it and be an annoying obstacle that tangles the enemy up in battle. Strangulation with said weapons is also an option she seems to be comfortable with.

Hand to hand Combat: She might be small in size, but she still packs quite a punch. Mavis knows how to knock out someone with one well-placed hit and take a punch herself without too much of a flinch. Most of her moves tend to lean heavily on diverting momentum towards a target area or leverage usage to use the opponent’s weight on themselves rather than brute strength, so she’s going to have trouble if she gets pinned down by someone larger than her.

Berserk spell: A spell she learned from the contract link she had with Ira. When used, greatly increases her strength and endurance, as well as shut off every other emotion other than anger. However, the longer she uses it, the more she would start to act on destructive impulses rather than coherent thoughts. If she went on for too long, she would end up at a point where she could probably mindlessly and repeatedly swing her sword at a rock till she exhaust herself completely and collapse unconscious till the next day.

Massive Mana Supply: Her race naturally has a huge mana supply stored in them; in Mavis' case, she has an exceptional amount of mana compared to anyone else in her race because she was able to consume a lot of food on a daily basis. Since they actually survive off mana instead of normal food, she can go on without food for a rather long time and not die from starvation. It doesn't mean that she won't feel like she's starving however, not dying and feeling hungry are two different things.

Mana Molding: She would have this ability, but after getting her link to Ira severed during the annual Contractor's Festival like everyone else, she just can't use it anymore.

History:
TL;DR version: Get born in a Resolum village, get bullied by racist humans for being a demon, dad went crazy due to eating some human steak and ate mom then got killed by relatives, get kicked out with the rest of her kind by humans for being a demon, get depressed and ran away from her new home, found Ira, joined war, lived through the war.
Currently trying to survive through Necromancer cult troubles while being cuddly with family.

Personality:
At a glance, Mavis is a quiet but tough person with a semi-permanent glaring frown on her face. But towards her family and close friends, she’s a caring but blunt airhead that could be hot tempered and childish at times. She loves cuddles, hugs and sleep piles but she is usually too shy and public image savy to ask for one; that doesn’t mean that she appreciates being babied with unless it was needed, it makes her feel awkwardly uncomfortable and weak. Since she grew up in a rural farmer’s village, she isn’t well informed about how to behave in high society and feels clearly out of place in formal social events. Once someone is in her circle of trusted people, she is one of the most loyal people to have on the team and wouldn’t think twice about being a meat shield for them if that could keep them safe. Despite her tough outer shell, Mavis never outgrew her insecurities and lack of self-confidence caused by the many years of bullying from the humans. In fact, one of the reasons she insists on being tough and maintaining her 'made of steel' public image is because that she feels like she’ll be dead weight and a weakling if she revealed her vulnerable side too much. Luckily, it wouldn't take too much effort from those she considers family to nudge her into spilling her beans and accept their help.

Real exorcisms and holy magic. Comes from being a demon, it makes her nauseous, burns like hot metal and as for the holy healing magic, hurts her than heal her

Extra facts:
Due to a chain of traumatic experiences, Mavis gets panicky when Facey (The Face Stealer) is mentioned and completely freezes over in terror when any core members of the Necromancer's cult appears.

Mavis has a huge scar across the left side of her waist due to an accident with a Thunder Lizard ramming her with its horn when she was on a hunting trip with Traize.

Her left eye is a fake magical replacement eye after Facey ripped her Contract out though her original eye. Due to the magical nature of this eye, it doesn't pick up on illusion based magic and she is pretty much blind to it on that side.

Despite being usually distant towards strangers, she is subtlety less guarded around children and would hand someone her lunch if she sees that they are really starving.

After getting kicked out all those years ago, Mavis can’t enter the forest of Temenweald without getting increasingly ‘land sick’ the closer she gets to her old village. The symptoms are so intense that she already feels somewhat nauseous by just being at the boarder of the Gardens. Mavis suspects that the humans set up some area wide spell that targets only Rijibarians, how they gotten the money or resources to do that however is still a mystery to her.

A Rijibarian's energy signature is similar to a Contract Eater. Mavis' always appears and overwhelms her Contractor signature whenever she starts panicking or when she is berserk from human flesh.
